Carolina Copper

I tried a sample first and was slightly surprised at how dark it was for an amber. It sits heavy but the flavor profile was great. I got notes of caramel but couldn’t quite put a specific taste to it. The mouthfeel was smooth but the finish reminded me more of a porter. I do wish there was a little more carbonation to help give it more of an Amber feel. However, the flavor was consistent throughout the whole beer and regardless of the style this brew is very enjoyable. It could double as a “dessert” beer and just a happy hour beer.
